My name is Tamara Williams, and from a young age, hair has been more than just a fascination—it has been a true passion and form of self-expression. My love for hair began when I received my first styling “client” in the form of a large Barbie head with long, lush hair. I spent hours braiding, styling, and perfecting cornrows, unknowingly setting the foundation for a lifelong journey into the world of natural hair care. Those early experiences were the start of a journey that would evolve in ways I never imagined.

Fifteen years ago, I began my journey with Sisterlocks™, initially as a creative outlet and a side hustle to make some extra money. At that time, I had no idea that this hobby would develop into a career and open the door to my own business. Today, as a Certified Sisterlocks™ Consultant, I’m grateful that what started as a way to pass time became the path to my calling and my own business, JüSon Naturals. Helping others find beauty and confidence in their natural hair has been incredibly rewarding, and I feel privileged to share this journey with every client who sits in my chair.

My personal natural hair journey began in January 2003, when I decided to leave relaxers behind and embrace the beauty and texture of my natural hair. That decision was pivotal for me, marking a new chapter not only in my hair journey but in my journey of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. In learning to care for and grow my natural hair, I gained an intimate understanding of the dedication, patience, and knowledge that healthy hair requires. This journey has taught me not only how to nurture hair but also how to nurture confidence, self-respect, and self-expression.

Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in the science of hair health, studying techniques, products, and practices that contribute to strong, vibrant natural hair. I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with my clients, empowering them to understand and care for their own hair in a way that fosters both beauty and well-being. My goal is to create a peaceful, supportive environment at JüSon Naturals, where clients feel valued and inspired, and where their hair is a source of pride.
